Arkham Knight is a superb game, but you will enjoy it much more after having played the first 2. Just one thing to keep in mind: Return to Arkham, technically speaking, is still PS3/Xbox360 technology and graphics, just slightly revamped. They did not receive a complete overhaul, but just some very slight make-up reinforcement in some areas.
BAK also has the Justice League 3000 skin which is included in the exclusive skins pack. Thank you. I'll edit to include JL 3000. I think only the Adam West skin is exclusive. The other 66' skins aren't. I might be miss remembering, but I believe the Joker DLC for Asylum was added to the GotY version of the PC release.
Personally mines the Beyond suit. I just love the design but the one thing I don't like is how small the cape is because I think Batman's big cape in Arkham Knight is really cool looking. BVS Suit, it's essentially perfect for Batman in Arkham Knight. I played almost the entire New Game+ with it and it worked so well.

If they ever release something like the Predator maps featuring different characters like in Arkham City, then I would say yes. The Batgirl DLC isn't bad, but I don't know if I would call it worth it. It's an hour of mediocre story and then however long it takes you to find stuff if you're into that.
When I get a PS5 either this year or next year I'm gonna get Arkham Knight on it to play the Scarecrow DLC, Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2 if it's out by then. This is the only way. PS5, I believe it’s also free with the PS+ collection. PS5. Although there’s a chance the Series S/X version might eventually get FPS boost.

But you are right, Arkham Knight played fine on PS4, but on PS5 it perform even worse. It's slow as you say, it's laggy, it stutter, it's unplayable on PS5. It's strange how performance can get worse on a stronger machine. It really shouldn't be too hard unlocking the power of PS5, it's just a few settings, could be done in less than an hour.

Nothing pointed toward predator and free flow combat from Arkham. The only concrete thing we knew was that it was a Batman game with the court of owls. It’s the community’s fault for the disappointment. Absolutely nothing pointed toward this being an Arkham game in the Arkham series.
Even if you didn’t pre order, if you got far enough in the game you should have a couple of Batman skins. At the main menu go to Showcase. From there you can see that you have the Batmobile skin activated by default. If you have any others unlocked you can scroll over them and select them as your Batmobile skin.
