Although it seems that smaller engines are cheaper to maintain, they do require more maintenance. LC8 and parallel twin engines will easily pass the 100,000 km mark and their service interval is 15,000 km. Engine oil capacity on these is 3–4 liters, which is quite a lot for the size. I went along with the user manual recommendation of using Motorex oil 10W-50. Decided I better do some research here, and I’m finding out that it’s not a very good oil.
